Our History & Future

CRO with Protein Chemistry Expertise

Prolytix, formerly known as Haematologic Technologies, was founded in 1987 by Kenneth Mann, Ph.D., a prominent scientist in thrombosis and hemostasis. We quickly developed a reputation as a go-to research reagents company with extensive coagulation and hemostasis expertise. We continue to provide highly purified plasma proteins and antibodies to research labs worldwide.

From Research Reagents to Analytical and Bioanalytical Services

In 2011, we expanded to add GMP, GLP, GCP, and CLIA-certified laboratories to further our capabilities and commitment to the biopharmaceutical industry. Our team leverages our decades of experience in protein chemistry to deliver comprehensive large-molecule CRO solutions to biotech, pharmaceutical, and research companies.

In early 2022, we became Prolytix to reflect our broad expertise in protein chemistry and analytics services. We remain a premier solution for integrated large molecule analytical and bioanalytical services, method and process development, research reagents, custom tubes, and other collection devices

The scientific knowledge and rigor Prolytix brought to the table was excellent, and turnaround time was fantastic compared to the large, global CROs. Prolytix clearly understood the scope of our request, their written reports were clear and exceeded our expectations for GMP scientific reports.

The Prolytix team was timely, precise, concise, and helpful in developing the best immunoassay for our needs. We successfully improved upon the published finding and also gained certainty about species specificity. It is essential to have good assays to clearly understand biology. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with this team and hope to work with you again in the near future.
