Shehnaz is Prolytix’s Chief Financial and People Officer. As CFO, she oversees finance, accounting, tax, treasury and audit functions. As Chief People Officer, she also leads Prolytix’s People and Culture initiatives in attracting top-notch talent, keeping our valued team members motivated in a collaborative and cohesive culture and ensuring our company has a meaningful presence within our local community. Shehnaz is a member of our senior leadership team and partners with her leadership peers to drive and attain the growth objectives of our business.
Over the past two decades, Shehnaz has progressively taken on various roles involving controlling, operations, internal audit, capital allocation, working capital management, cost control, facilitating mergers and integrating operations in plant, R&D and corporate environments alike in industries encompassing life sciences, healthcare, abrasives, and refractories leading both US and international teams in regional and worldwide roles. She has also built teams, facilitated organizational re-design, coached and mentored multiple teams while improving processes and platforms to align and deliver on business objectives.
Prior to joining Prolytix, Shehnaz worked with UK-based LGC as Division Controller and prior to that with French building materials, life and material sciences conglomerate Saint-Gobain in roles such as Finance Director, Worldwide Controller, Corporate Accounting and Internal Audit manager. She started her early career with KPMG in India.
Shehnaz has a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Madras and an MBA from the University of Toledo in Finance and International Business.
